There’s Talk Jacqui Lambie Might Be Heading Into ‘I’m A Celebrity’
The South African jungle better ready itself because a rumour is circulating that none other than ousted Tasmania senator Jacqui Lambie could be heading into I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.
Lambie (aka Lambo) has become known in Aussie politics for her true blue likability, alongside her offensive and arguably racist views. Just imagine her loose in the jungle, having to eat monkey testicles… it’s pretty much the dream car-crash TV we don’t deserve but desperately crave.
The tasty rumour originated from 3AW’s morning rumour file segment which was then tweeted out by entertainment reporter Peter Ford:
Caller to @RossAndJohn Rumour File has @JacquiLambie heading into the South African ‘jungle’ next month as a celebrity!
— Peter Ford (@mrpford) December 5, 2017
Daily Mail contacted the reality show, and they would not confirm or deny Lambie’s inclusion in the 2018 series, say
“Celebrities from all walks of life will go into the South African jungle in 2018, and there will be plenty of surprises this season for both the celebrities and viewers,” a statement read.
While Jacqui herself is denying that she’ll be involved with the series, tweeting:
“First I’m hearing of this. Don’t need to to go to the jungle to rumble there is enough of that in politics,” she wrote.
We’ll listen out for updates, as the celebs entering the jungle are expected to be revealed later this month.
