A Definitive List Of All Of Jeffree Star’s Famous Beefs
The beauty world is built on petty feuds and the common denominator in most of the beefs is one person: Jeffree Star.
The liquid lipstick genius and founder of Jeffree Star Cosmetics isn’t shy about his many enemies, in fact, they’ve kind of become a part of his brand.
This video on his YouTube channel titled ‘Full Face Of Brands That Hate Me’ summarises it perfectly.
You really don’t want to get on the wrong side of Jeffree, who will swiftly call you out on social media no matter if you’re a Kardashian or the mouthpiece of a smaller indie brand.
Let’s roll through all of the major makeup brands and influencers Jeffree has started beef with online:
Jeffree Vs. Kat Von D
This was the beef to end all beefs. The two were longtime besties with Kat helping Jeffree kickstart his career in makeup but it all came crashing down in 2016. Kat publicly ended their friendship via social media, citing his alleged “drug use, racism, and bullying,” as the reasons she could no longer have any kind of relationship with him.
Jeffree hit back saying that Kat never supported his brand and in an Allure interview he said: “Even though we were friends for ten years, you never know you’re going to literally wake up one morning and have your best friend backstab you in front of the entire world.”
Kat explained her side of the story in a YouTube video:
She has since pulled her line of liquid lipsticks in the ‘Jeffree’ shade. Savage.
Jeffree Vs. Kylie Jenner
Jeffree is known for regularly shading Kylie Cosmetics in his YouTube videos and on Twitter. In his ‘Brands That Hate Me’ video he said:
“I just think that there are so many [Kylie Cosmetics] products being put out and it’s not exciting anymore. It’s kind of lacklustre and I’m just kind of over the brand at the moment,” he stated.
“Maybe it will re-excite me in the future, maybe not, but right now I’m kind of, like, over it.”
I don't give a fuck if you're famous or not. The PRODUCT is either great or bad. And I'll never lie to my followers and customers.

In another Twitter thread, Jeffree had a go at Kylie’s makeup brushes saying “Are the new @kyliecosmetics makeup brushes made out of animal hair? Is that why they’re so expensive?? BITCH I’M STILL DUMBFOUNDED!!!!!”
He had previously accused her of copying his liquid lipstick packaging and said her products were just ColourPop dupes.
“She found a lab that makes a $5 formula and they’re called ColourPop. They gave her the same exact one with her name on it and charged $20 more. I’m bored,” he said in an interview with Racked.
And he ain’t even done yet. Jeffree then called out the quality of Kylie Cosmetics liquid lipstick brushes.
So I got the new @kyliecosmetics lip glosses…. SO disappointed in this product. That wand is unacceptable. pic.twitter.com/NCkkUer2aV

Kylie clapped back to his condescending tweet.
@JeffreeStar I have the same passion ?
— Kylie Jenner (@KylieJenner) April 17, 2016
Later in a now-deleted Twitter rant, Jeffree confirmed he is no longer on the press list for Kylie Cosmetics so won’t get her products to review. If you come for the queen, you best not miss.
Jeffree Vs. Jerrod Blandino
In another infamous beef, Jeffree has butted heads with Too Faced Cosmetics founder Jerrod Blandino. It seemed to kick off after Blandino shaded Tarte Cosmetics’ unicorn makeup collection for being too similar to Too Faced in an Instagram post. This prompted Star to call Blandino “petty and gross” on Snapchat for claiming to invent unicorn makeup.

Jeffree didn’t stop there, he also claimed that Too Faced underpaid YouTube star Nikkie Tutorials in their collab which lead into the next beef.
Jeffree Vs. Nikkie Tutorials
This situation got very messy as Star threatened to reveal the contract from Too Faced’s collaboration with NikkieTutorials (Nikkie de Jager), but this came off the back of Jeffree revealing that he and Nikki are longer friends.
Nikki responded on YouTube addressing their friendship and below is a good summary of what they’ve said about each other.
In a statement, Jeffree said:
“Everything nowadays calls everything ‘shady’ when it comes to honesty. Her and I are no longer friends. You can confirm that. But I still respect her hustle, and I watched first-hand how they abused her and know how much she got paid. It’s embarrassing. I think anyone else BUT me would be scared to mention the contract.”
He then threw shade at the quality of Nikki’s Too Faced palette.
“I did it to make a statement and so the audience has a taste as to WHY her palette was so shitty. She approved something, and what was produced was not the same quality.”
All tea, all shade.
Jeffree Vs. Huda Kattan
Never shying away from controversy, Jeffree posted a video accusing Huda of stealing the concept for her Easy Bake Setting Powder from indie brand Beauty Bakerie.
In his above ‘Brands That Hate Me‘ video he said regarding the brand:
“I’m all for people being inspired by other brands but when you literally steal the exact concept and photo shoot from an indie brand – how do you sleep at night?” he asked.
“The entire packaging idea was stolen and I don’t understand why. I would love to support this collection, but if you’re going to steal from someone and not acknowledge it – can’t relate.” He also didn’t shy away from tweeting his thoughts.
Tell Huda Beauty to fuck off and use products from someone with a soul ?

Jeffree, being Jeffree, contacted Huda but of course posted the messages to social media.
Huda eventually replied and was angered that he had posted their private messages. Jeffree then posted this new exchange to Twitter. Lol. What a shitshow.
I don’t see a collab on the horizon any time soon.
Jeffree Vs. Doe Deere
Another makeup beef to add to the pile is with Lime Crime founder Doe Deere. While initially good friends before Jeffree launched his brand, in 2015 Jeffree posted a screenshot of the brand’s Twitter from 2010 that read this:
the tweet in @JeffreeStar's story. tsk tsk @limecrime @doedeere #boycottlimecrime pic.twitter.com/gCR2HzEAJt
— Boycott Lime Crime (@limecrimeliar) March 9, 2015
This prompted Jeffree to go on a tirade and did not hold back on his opinions on Doe.

I don’t know how he has all this energy for petty BS but I love him.
Jeffree Vs. Laura Lee, Gabriel Zamora, Nikita Dragun and Manny MUA
Things get even messier in the realm of beauty vloggers and Insta-famous makeup artists. There is a lot that has gone down but the most savage feud came from this photo with Manny MUA, Gabriel Zamora, Nikita Dragun and Laura Lee.
Captioned, “Bitch is bitter because when him we’re doing better,” most fans assumed this was a clear message to Jeffree.
In response to some of the fans reactions, Gabriel tweeted “Imagine stanning a racist? I could never,” which appeared to be an obvious dig in regards to Jeffree’s past controversy over racist comments made.
From there, things took a turn for the worst as Jeffree’s fans uncovered racist tweets and Snapchats previously made my Gabriel and Laura. They got all the receipts.
Laura Lee and Gabriel Zamora are so fucking hypocrite. Jeffree Star can't relate. pic.twitter.com/5CdopYgd5i

In the following days, those involved lost a bunch of followers and issued apologies on their respective channels, showing just how powerful Jeffree’s fanbase are… so beware, y’all.
Jeffree Vs. Kim Kardashian
Not content with targeting just one Kardashian, Jeffree has also come for Kim in the past. An example of being peak petty, he’s taking aim at Kim’s swatch of her KKW powder contouring kit.
Upon seeing the swatch, Jeffree immediately tweeted: “Umm… Kim what is going on with those new swatches?? Looks like chalk,” adding “I’m never a fan of finger swatches so I’ll have to try the @kkwbeauty on my face for a final verdict but… doesn’t look great so far.”
Instead of blocking Jeffree, Kim ended up defending him from her fans who were flooding his social media with nasty comments.
Eventually things fizzled out. Thank the Lord.
That was exhausting. Never stop spilling that tea, Jeffree.
