As we count the days until Eurovision 2016 lights up our TV screen (and our hearts) this coming Friday, a rather random but welcome late inclusion to the lineup has been announced- Justin Timberlake.

The American artist will perform his new boppy dance single ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling‘ at the Grand Final, to be aired on SBS at 5am Sunday May 15th and again at 7:30pm Sunday night.

Hopefully, he brings his killer dance moves too.

“This is a fantastic opportunity,” said Sven Stojanovic, the show producer of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.

“We are very happy and excited that Justin Timberlake will perform his new song together with his band in our show. It makes it extra special that the Swedish songwriters Max Martin and Shellback have co-written and co-produced the song together with Justin Timberlake.”

Timberlake will perform as the interval act, just like Australia’s own Jessica Mauboy did back in 2014, performing her song ‘Sea of Flags’.
