Kanye West is broke, claiming he’s $53 million USD (nearly $75 million AUD) in debt – and now he’s asking Mark Zuckerberg to ‘invest 1 billion dollars into Kanye West ideas’.

Kanye, seriously mate, what is going on?

On Valentine’s Day, after dropping his long awaited album The Life of Pablo and performing on Saturday Night Live, our boy Kanye West announced on twitter that he is $53 million dollars in debt. It comes as the singer publicly seeks $100 million in investment for his Yeezy fashion line to take it to the next level. Sources claim that the singer has to date funded everything from his own pocket and now desperately needs backers.

A source told the New York Post newspaper:

“Kanye is spending a lot of money. He thinks on a big scale and is currently paying for everything himself. He needs a backer to help him achieve the kind of fashion-world domination he is aiming for.

Now, the self proclaimed ‘God’ has announced himself that things aren’t going as well as hoped, saying:

This may be confusing and confronting for those who know that Kanye is one of the most successful artists of modern times; how could someone with that much success and a wife who appears to be ‘rollin in it’ owe that much money? Mrs Kardashian West has been tweeting her support for her man by recommending fans buy the new album.

A lot of people, including the majority of twitter, are skeptical of Kanye’s announcement – but back in early 2015, Kanye did claim that he was $16 million in debt while he was trying to launch a clothing brand.

Kanye’s antics on twitter are definitely confusing a lot of his fans and followers, specifically after tweeting support for Bill Cosby early this month and that alleged “never happened” conversation he had with Taylor Swift that he tweeted about earlier in the week.

Even Rhymefest, who worked with Kanye on “Jesus Walks”, is losing his patience.

Amazingly, Kanye has come back to twitter today with the most bizarre request yet. Asking the man behind Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg for A BILLION DOLLARYDOOS.

We’re yet to know what Zuckerberg’s response is, even though his net worth is an estimated 35.7 billion, we get the feeling the answer might be no.

Personally, I think Kanye might be having a case of the Mileys – can’t stop, won’t stop.
