Kanye West Had A Savage Response To Pete Davidson & Kim Kardashian’s Breakup

Over the weekend, Hollywood’s latest it couple, Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian, called it quits. Fans were waiting for Kim’s ex-hubby, rapper Kanye West, to respond, and my God, his response was savage AF.

Pete and Kim were reported to have gone their separate ways after only nine months of dating. A source told Entertainment Tonight that the “spark between them (Kim and Pete)” had “faded.”

Recent reports suggest that Pete proposed to Kim, and it was this action that pushed the couple apart. A source told Radar, “Everything was just moving too fast. Kim wanted to slow things down, and instead, Pete proposed. He is devastated. Everyone warned him that he was going to push her away, but he didn’t listen.”

Ever since the news surfaced of Kim and Pete’s breakup, many were keen to see Kanye West’s response.

And respond, he did. In a Insta post the rapper uploaded an edited New York Times post with the headline “Skete Davidson Dead At Age 28,” and honestly, I’m not sure if I should laugh or be concerned with this messy clap-back.

The post did not last long, as it was taken down a few hours after it was first uploaded. According to a close source to Kim, the reality TV star slammed her ex-hubby for the savage post. “Kim won’t stand for this. She is demanding that Kanye take the post down, but he won’t,” the source said.

The source also revealed that Kim has been by Pete’s side during this whole media frenzy, despite being broken up. “She has been vigorously defending Pete…She won’t stand for this type of behaviour from him (Kanye),” the source told The Daily Mail.

But despite Kim’s alleged wishes for the post to be taken down, the damage had already been done. Fans shared their reactions to Kanye’s petty post online.

However, some people have called out Kanye for his post due to Pete’s battle with borderline personality disorder. One Twitter user, @metraux_Julia, has called on Kanye to “show some grace” to Pete.

Kanye has a troubling history of insulting the comedian for dating his ex, featuring a clay version of Pete in his controversial video ‘Eazy’, where Kanye kidnaps and buries a Pete look-a-like.

But the plot thickens…Pete wasn’t the only one targeted in this hit post.

If you read closely, the caption of the fake newspaper also throws shade at fellow rapper Kid Cudi, who covered for Kanye at Rolling Loud Miami. “Kid Cudi meant to play funeral but fearful of bottle throwers,” the caption reads. Kid Cudi walked out on his set after bottles were thrown at him.

Pete and Kim have yet to come out publicly with any statements about their split or the Kanye post but I’ll be waiting, with a bowl of popcorn nearby.
