An Australian Labor Party staffer has made a massive balls-up by making a ‘How to vote’ page from the 2013 Federal Election live.

Confused prospective voters noticed that the page featured disgraced former Labor leader, Kevin Rudd in the place of current leader and Prime Ministerial hopeful, Bill Shorten. The party was quick to react and took the page down shortly after.

This could either be seen as a big mistake or a sly dig by a rival party member at Shorten, who is currently trailing in the polls by a massive margin. Shorten’s popularity and loyalty has been questioned after he seemingly took down Julia Gillard and Rudd between 2010 and 2013.

Either way – it doesn’t look great for the party who are trying to get back on their feet.

Aussies are expected to go to the polls before January 2017. It’s thoroughly suggested that they figure out who their leader is before then.
