Comedy lovers that are sick of the dude-fest, take note. Hunger Games’ and Pitch Perfect’s Elizabeth Banks has launched a new website, that will feature original content by new and well known comedy mavens.

The website is named WhoHaha – yep, making lol’s of lady parts – and offering a digital platform for women in comedy.

Banks recently told AdAge she saw a gap in content created by only-women.

“There are people doing it really well for boys. I just felt like there was not a place that was doing it really, really well, and specifically, for girls and women.”

Elizabeth Banks PSA: Introducing WhoHaha

As a kind of anti-thesis to bloke-centric comedy websites such as Funny or Die, WhoHaha will host Banks’  YouTube series, Really Important Questions and a new series on the site called Ask a Badass, where Banks will interview women in comedy, as well as co-stars like Jennifer Lawrence.

The platform will feature well-known comedy actresses such as Melissa McCarthy, Amy Schumer and Mindy Kaling, along with emerging talent, with a handful of original videos by viral sensation and YouTuber Megan MacKay, while comedian Akilah Hughes also has her own sub-blog on the site featuring comedic lifehacks.

One of the underlying factors that Banks identifies as a need for such a site is to showcase often overlooked female comedians in a male-dominated industry.

“Believe us when we tell you that it’s not equal and it’s hard and you will be held to higher standards and you have to work hard and you have to stay committed. I was told growing up, ‘The world is your oyster and you can be whatever you want.’ The fact of the matter is, that is empirically untrue for most women. We need those barriers to be broken down by young people, as well as us seasoned pros.”

We don’t need convincing! But want a taste? The below videos are a few hilarious samples of what’s on offer:
