An old episode of Jamie Lee Curtis’ podcast has been unearthed where the actress drags Glee’s Lea Michele — and it is absolutely hilarious.

Good Friend is a podcast hosted by the Queen of the Halloween franchise, Jamie Lee Curtis, and it revolves around the topics of friendships and conflict. In an episode that was uploaded last year in October, JLC invited Lea Michele and Jonathan Groff to discuss their relationship during their time starring in the musical Spring Awakening back in 2007. The podcast took a savage turn when JLC brought up the musical’s past accolades.

Jamie Lee asked, “Was the show nominated (for a Tony)?” and Lea responded, “We won eight Tony Awards.” Jamie then hit back “Yes, you did… But you didn’t, Lea!”

I am CACKLING!

I could only imagine Lea’s face at that moment, and I personally think it could’ve been this:

The sneaky comment was made after Lea shared a story about the biggest fight in her and Jono’s relationship, which stemmed from her missing out on a Tony Award nomination in 2007 for her performance in the musical.

Lea’s bestie, Jonathan, was laughing at the savage remark made by Queen JLC, but in the midst of the giggles, you can hear Lea say, “and neither [did] Jon”, who was actually nominated but didn’t win.

As this savage snippet made the rounds on Twitter, many users have joined in on the fun, sharing their reactions to one of the biggest burns ever.

And of course, we did a roundup of all our fave reactions to Queen Jamie Lee Curtis going savage mode on Lea Michele:

Not going to lie, I was absolutely floored by Jamie’s comment. But don’t worry, it was only a bit of banter as fans of the pair know that they’re longtime friends after meeting on the set of Scream Queens.

In the last few years, Lea has seen a lot of criticism thrown her way, stemming from allegations of racismtransphobia, and more generally nasty behaviour. Some of these claims were backed up by former Glee stars.

Most notably, Glee actress Samantha Marie Ware called out the star’s onset behaviour in a now-deleted tweet, alleging that Lea threatened to ‘shit in her wig’.

The latest drama following Lea comes after she replaced Beanie Feldstein in the leading role of the Broadway revival of Funny Girl.

Jane Lynch, who starred opposite Lea on Glee, will also be departing the current production. This left some fans online speculating that she left because she wanted to avoid working with Lea again, but Jane has since put these rumours to rest telling Deadline, ” I adore her [Lea]. She’s just going to take this show and make it her own. I’m so glad she’s getting the opportunity in real life to do the show and not just on Glee.

But anyways, that’s what you missed on Glee.
