Lindsay Lohan Has Welcomed A Baby Boy With Her Husband
Our early ’00s queen Lindsay Lohan has welcomed a baby boy with her husband Bader Shammas. The couple named him Luai, and he was born in Dubai, where the family lives.
His birth date hasn’t been confirmed, but Lindsay’s rep gave a sweet statement to Page Six, saying: “The family is over the moon in love.”
The star’s choice of name is touching, as it means “steady” or “strong” in Arabic. No photos of the bub have been shared yet, which is in keeping with Lindsay’s private life in Dubai, away from paparazzi.
The reveal comes after Lindsay announced her pregnancy on Instagram in March, using a cute photo of a onesie with “coming soon” written on top. “We are blessed and excited,” she said.
She has since shared a number of snaps showing off her baby bump, and she really looks like she’s living her best life.
Her celeb pals have been sending well wishes, including Paris Hilton, who wrote: “So happy for you love!”
“Yes! I’m a gangster godmother just saying,” added comedian Whitney Cummings.
“Ahhhmazing!!! Congratulations,” model Lydia Hearst commented.
Lindsay Lohan on becoming a mum
Earlier this year, Lindsay opened up to Allure about how living in Dubai has helped her find stability, something she missed out on as a child star in the Hollywood machine.
She told Allure that she tends to stick to the same schedule each day, having tea, some yoghurt, a smoothie, and then a workout. “I really love structure because I don’t think I had that when I was young,” she said. “Everything was coming so fast and I had so many things happening. My only structure was filming and being on set.”
As much as we’d all love to be back in our LiLo movie star era, her focus is on her family, and her joy is clear.
“I can’t wait to see what the feeling is and what it’s like to just be a mum,” she said. “It’s overwhelming… in a good way.”
