We’ve Been Blessed With Our First Look At Lindsay Lohan’s Netflix Christmas Movie
Child star and celebrity icon Lindsay Lohan is finally making her way back to her acting roots in Christmas movie, Falling For Christmas, and the first looks are making me excited for the holidays!
Netflix revealed the official poster for the movie while honouring one of Lindsay’s most iconic movies, Mean Girls.

“It’s October 3rd — but here’s an early holiday gift,” the streaming platform wrote. And if that joke didn’t click for you, October 3rd is the date that Aaron Samuels asked Cady Heron (Lohan) the date in Mean Girls and she answered this iconic response…
The scene has become a meme that’s shared annually, turning the date into Mean Girls Day.
Alongside the drop of the official poster, we did get some snippets of the movie, and it looks jam-packed with Christmas spirit. It’s also nice to see Lindsay acting again!
It’s literally giving me flashbacks to my childhood when I would binge watch Parent Trap on VCR.
We also catch a glimpse of Lindsay in a scene with her romantic lead played by Chord Overstreet, who is most known for his role as Sam Evans on Glee.

In Lindsay’s latest acting venture, she takes on the role of a hotel heiress Sierra (which is kinda reminiscent of her on/off friend Paris Hilton) who gets into a skiing accident, resulting in amnesia. Sierra is luckily saved by a working-class widower (Chord) and his daughter.
In an interview with Netflix’s Tudum, Lindsay has described Sierra as “Extravagant. Temperamental. Glamorous.”
She added that Falling For Christmas gave her the opportunity to jump back into movies and roles that she loves doing. “It’s such a refreshing, heartwarming romantic comedy and I miss doing those kinds of movies.”
Lindsay also said that she did all her own stunts in the Netflix rom-com, because she is THAT girl! “All the stunt scenes were really fun for me because I haven’t gotten to do that much in a lot of my films.” However, she did admit she isn’t that great at skiing.
As someone who grew up watching Parent Trap, Mean Girls and Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen, I’m expecting a lot of cute winter looks with lots of faux fur, Christmas colours, and fuzzy material.
I’m not disappointed!

In other first looks of the movie, it seems like the heiress may be ditching the high-end fashion after she is saved by our Glee hottie.
It’s a serve nonetheless, and we love a cozy, winter soft-glam.
The movie is set to premiere in November 10 which gives us extra time to catch up on other Lindsay classics such as Freaky Friday and my personal fave, reality show Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club.
I wonder if this movie will link in to Netflix’s Christmas Prince universe.
