LISTEN: Kylie Minogue Has A New Christmas Single & It’s Not Completely Terrible
Christmas carols generally induce two opposite reactions: complete horror, or Buddy the Elf unrestrained joy. I’m the latter and I’m not ashamed of it. Once it hits December 1st, I hit play on Miss Mariah and will keep belting out ‘All I want for Christmas‘ until NYE.
We all have our faves, whether you’re a John Lennon ‘War is Over‘ kinda holiday-maker or more inclined to Wham’s ‘Last Christmas‘, but there are only a handful of Xmas pop songs that have stood the test of time.
The newest holiday ditty to add to your playlist is Kylie Minogue’s new song ‘At Christmas‘. The song is the first track on the Aussie pop royalty’s seasonal album ‘Kylie Christmas: Snow Queen Edition’, following on from Minogue’s last year (super creatively titled) Xmas album ‘Kylie Christmas’.
The song is not terrible. It’s certainly no Mariah, but it’s catchy AF and a foot-tapping, feel good track.
The ‘Snow Queen Edition’ will hit stores this Friday, November 25th.
