LISTEN: Lorde Just Dropped Her Dark New Single ‘Perfect Places’
In the lead up to up to her highly anticipated sophomore album Melodrama, NZ prodigy Lorde has this morning released her new track ‘Perfect Places’. Holy hell we’re excited!
The new track takes a darker, more mature angle than some of the other tracks we’ve heard from the album. That being said, it’s not too dark, it sticks to the themes of cutting loose as a teenager and includes lyrics like:
“Every night I live and die/ Meet somebody, take ’em home/ Let’s kiss and then take off our clothes”
