There’s a lot to love about YA book adaption Looking For Alaska on Stan, which is arguably one of the greatest teen TV dramas to drop in years. It’s just SO good.

But when watching, all I could focus on was that the series’ star, Charlie Plummer, looks exactly like a young Chad Michael Murray.

They look so damn similar, I’m actually shook.

Lucas Scott, that you? I became so convinced they were related, that I half expected to Google the actor who plays Pudge and find out that his surname is Murray. But nope. They have no relation to each other.

I’m not the only one to notice the uncanny resemblance.

The freakiest part is Charlie doesn’t just look like Chad, he speaks and acts like him in the series. I haven’t been this confused since I saw Noah Centineo in To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and could swear he was possessed by the (living) spirit of Mark Ruffalo.

If you haven’t watched the series, then I beg you to go check it out. Not only for the Chad throwback but because it’s just a phenomenal show.
