18 ‘Love Is Blind’ Memes About The Chaotic First Episodes
Reality dating show spring has sprung with the return of Love Is Blind on Netflix. And I know it might be early days, but I can confidently say this is already the most chaotic season yet.
Season 3 premiered last week with four episodes dropping at once, which introduced a new bunch of love-seekers, this time from Dallas, Texas. If you’re new to the reality series, Love Is Blind puts singles to the ultimate test: they date strangers inside pods, sight unseen, before becoming engaged. It’s only after one of them proposes that the new couple meets face-to-face.
While we’re only a few episodes deep, there are already quite a few strong (read: bonkers) characters who have stood out. Raven is a fitness freak who decided to do jumping jacks while Bartise spilled his heart out to her. Cole is like a big golden retriever, who comes with the best intentions but makes a lot of mess along the way. Meanwhile, Colleen is ballet dancer who… admits she’s quite shallow, but don’t dare call her shallow. It’s confusing!
The highlight of the first bunch of episodes has to be Andrew, who after being dumped by Nancy got caught out in his confessional faking tears. In a painfully awkward sequence, before speaking about Nancy, Andrew kept squeezing eye drops into his eyes until tears flowed down his face. It was a flawless scene. Andrew might be the best villain reality TV has ever seen.
The episodes ended with five solid couples: Brennon and Alexa, Bartise and Nancy, Matt and Colleen, Zanab and Cole, and SK and Raven. Thankfully for the sake of drama, there looks set to be some potential partner-swapping with Bartise and Raven, along with Cole and Colleen.
