‘Love, Simon’ Just Won ‘Best Kiss’ At The MTV Movie Awards & I Can’t Stop Crying
The MTV Movie & TV Awards just wrapped up and the moment that’s hitting everyone straight in their feels is Love, Simon taking home ‘Best Kiss’.
The ultimate feel-good movie of 2018 followed teenager, Simon, and his journey of coming out to his family and friends. It gifted us with many wonderful moments, but none more aww-inducing than when Simon finally meets his mysterious penpal and they share their first kiss.

Put simply: it was cute as hell.
The smooch even beat out the kiss between Eleven and Mike on Stranger Things. While the film’s leading man Nick Robinson (aka Simon) wasn’t there to accept the award alongside his on-screen love interest, Keiynan Lonsdale absolutely slayed his acceptance speech.
Keiynan took the opportunity to make a bold statement about gender identity and it was moving AF.

“You can live your dreams and kiss the one that you love no matter what gender they are. You can live your dreams and believe in magic. You can live your dreams and you can be yourself.”
I’m already crying. His speech got a huge reaction from all the celebs watching on. What a legend.
P.S: We really need to appreciate this look for a minute.

Don’t mind me as I melt into a puddle of my own tears.
