Pics Of The First ‘MAFS’ 2024 Wedding Has Leaked And The Groom Looks Miserable..?
Guys, I’m not over the trauma of Married at First Sight 2023, but it seems like we’re already diving headfirst into MAFS 2024. New snaps of the first wedding have been leaked on The Wash, and it’s got me wondering if it’s yet another mismatch. Can you tell that I’m still not over how sweet angel Caitlin McConville was paired with Shady Shannon?
Now, I know you can’t judge a book by its cover, yada yada yada, but the photos of the new groom (who has a shaved undercut and man bun, btw) show that he’s not feelin’ very enthusiastic about the whole situ. Like, he’s chilling out at his wedding, and it looks more like he’s at a funeral.

Tbf, the blonde bride doesn’t look like she’s too stoked with what’s going down either, but side note: her dress looks incred on her. I’d go so far as to say as in one pic, it looks like she’s desperately eyeing up the cameraman to get her out of the sticky situ. You know, like when you’re being hit on a bar and you need to escape ASAP.
It looks like I’m not the only one with this first impression, with MAFS fans sharing their thoughts on Insta, with one saying that the match looks “toxic AF”.

“Holy shite poor old mate man bun don’t look happy with his arranged Mrs,” another commented.
“Where’s his bloody socks?” another asked, and let it be on record that I’d also like the answer to this Very Important Question.
“The struggle bun tells me everything I need to know,” a fan wrote.
How long will MAFS 2024 be filming for this year?
Production company Endemol Shine is currently filming Season 11, likely so that it can go on air early 2024. A casting call shared by Channel 9 recently revealed that filming started in late July, and will finish in November. We’ll keep bringing you any tea that leaks over the next few months.
