Melinda From ‘MAFS’ Is Documenting Her Entire Plastic Surgery Transformation

Celebrities are famously sneaky about cosmetic surgery. They’ll go into hiding to conceal a nose job, deny ever having a breast augmentation and even claim that their fuller lips are just thanks to a bit of overlining and sucking on a shot glass. Yes, that last one was very specifically aimed at Kylie Jenner.

And, to be honest, it’s totally the celebrity’s prerogative to keep that stuff private. But when someone in the spotlight shares what they actually have done to their face, I can’t help but become mildly obsessed. Getting the backstage pass to a famous person’s intense beauty routine is fascinating and nothing has kept me more glued to my screen than watching Melinda Willis having her lips dissolved.

In case the last season of Married At First Sight feels seven thousand years ago now, let me remind you of Melinda. She was paired with Layton and the two actually made it through the show, becoming a real-life couple after MAFS. However, they broke up a few months back adding to the show’s terrible track record.

Melinda works as a beautician, running her own salon, so she’s never been afraid of a little cosmetic treatment here, a little injectable there. When she appeared on MAFS she had anti-wrinkle injections, lip filler and eyelash extensions – but now she’s winding that all back.

In a bid to “feel more natural” Melinda is dissolving her lip filler and ditching the lash extensions and she’s sharing the reality of undoing plastic surgery on socials. She posted a selfie video to Instagram a day or two after dissolving her lips, showing just how bruised and damaged they were.

She then followed up with updates on her dissolving progress. Here were her lips three days after dissolving:

Melinda also shared her eyelash extensions getting removed, which her lash technician was physically shocked by.
