MAFS’ Michelle & Jesse Post Awks Video To Convince Us All They’re Still Legit BFFs

It was the break-up we were all waiting for. On last night’s episode of ‘Married at First Sight’ Michelle finally broke Jesse’s heart, telling the fruit merchant that she wants a ‘forever friendship’, rather than a romantic partnership.

You could pinpoint the exact moment when Jesse’s heart shattered into a thousand pieces. It was brutal.

Reactions online were squarely in Jesse’s corner, with viewers frustrated with Michelle seemingly leading on the guy; never showing much interest in her TV hubby since day one.

Now the exes have taken to their socials, to convince us all that they are actually legit BFFs after all. It’s an awkward watch.

“We came into it, and we committed ourselves for 8 weeks on this journey and hoped that the experts had done their job right.

“But even though we didn’t succeed in becoming lifelong lovers and husband and wife, we’ve gained a really true friendship, hopefully which lasts a lifetime,” says Michelle in the clip.

“So, I think we’ve only gained from this experiment in my books.”

Jesse’s final message was less convincing. Concluding that being dumped in front of the nation was a positive experience, and adding that he will take on this horror show through to his next relationship. You wot, m8?

“We’ve learnt so much from this and you know, what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna take on this new knowledge and bring it into our new relationships,” said Jesse.

Errr…I guess, that’s a good thing?!?
