Margot Robbie & Josh Lawson’s Reactions To Their Oscar Noms Are Too Aussie For Words
Today we learnt the nominations for the 2018 Academy Awards, which happened to include Aussie Margot Robbie scoring her very first Oscar nom for her groundbreaking role as Tonya Harding in ‘I, Tonya’.
Robbie is in Australia at the moment and was attending the film’s premiere last night. While out and about partying on the town following the screening, the actress was told she had been awarded a ‘Best Actress’ Oscar nom.
Her response is too Aussie for words, with Margot giggling and giving cheers in the big moment.
Here’s the footage captured as the news was dropped:

Fellow Aussie and hilarious human being Josh Lawson also scored an Oscar nomination for his writing/starring credits in The Eleven O’Clock.
He filmed himself (with a very unimpressed doggo) when the news was announced and was quickly in tears, but of course, he still managed to swear like a sailor ‘cos STRAYA.
Aussies are killing it right now, and we’re all too proud. Onya!
