We just witnessed, possibly, the first marriage ceremony for Season 10 of Married At First Sight, and although we’ve barely recovered from the last season, I say BRING IT ON.

The little sneak peek comes from Channel 9’s Upfronts 2023 media presentation, where the network shares all the television goodies they have lined up for next year. Within this mega media event, participants were treated to a snippet of the first bride and groom of next year’s MAFS, as well as other possible contestants.

To paint the picture for all of you, the promo starts off with a bride and groom at the altar, with a groom welling up while saying his vows. “Believe me when I say,” he says tearfully, “this is the best point in time for someone to be snatching me up…I don’t know where love has been hiding all these years, and I don’t know more I can do to make my light any easier for love to find because I’m shining so brightly.”

At the end of his vows, the bride says, “f*ck yeah you are”. Who said romance is dead?! The clip then has little jump cuts of other women and men who may be participants in the experiment.

Although we didn’t get much out of this trailer in terms of drama and fights, we do know that Season 10 will follow the same formula as previous seasons. MAFS experts Alessandra Rampolla, John Aiken, and Mel Schilling will  be retuning to guide these new couples on their journey.

The full cast has yet to be announced for MAFS 2023, but we do know that one of the brides is online influencer Melinda Willis, who boasts over 150k followers on Instagram. She was revealed to be one of the first brides on the next season after she was pictured leaving a party alongside MAFS experts Mel and Alessandra in August. A source close to the bride also told The Daily Mail that Mel has being trying to sign up for the reality TV dating show for years and that being in the next season is a “dream come true.”

Alongside the return of Married At First Sight, Channel 9 also announced new reality TV shows including The Summit (aka The Money Trail), My Mum Your Dad, Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars, RPA, Big Miracles and Australia’s Most Identical.

We’re totally keen for the new season of Married At First Sight and tbh the snippet itself looks promising! As the un-named bride said, “F*ck yeah.”
