‘MAFS’ Australia Is So Bonkers That It Just Made ‘The Ellen Show’ & We’re Screaming
It’s comforting to know that we’re not the only ones that find Married at First Sight absolutely bonkers. The Aussie series has just gone international.
On The Ellen Show in a segment on weird reality shows, rather than showing the U.S version of MAFS, instead Ellen screened a clip from last year’s MAFS Australia, highlighting the series’ most kooky character: Troy, of course. Duh.

Ellen opens the clip, describing the MAFS format:
“It’s about people who marry someone at their very first meeting and here’s a man getting ready to meet his new wife [giggles] for the first time.” The video then cuts to the clip of Troy getting ready for his wedding to Ashley and that infamous tooth brushing scene.
Ellen loses her shit and it’s a joy to watch.
