It’s 2019 all over again, as drama continues to follow the contestants from Season 6 of Married at First Sight Australia, which has become a phenomenon in the UK, where it’s currently airing.

The latest scandal involves Sam Ball and Bronson Norrish, as it was recently revealed that Sam warned Bronson that he was going to start an affair with Ines Basic. “Sam pulled me aside before the affair started and let me know that Ines had contacted him, and that the producers were pushing forward and wanting them to have the affair on the show,” Bronson told Express.co.uk.

In one of the most controversial moments in Married at First Sight Australia’s history, Sam and Ines cheated on their partners a few weeks into the experiment. When their infidelity was exposed at a commitment ceremony, both Bronson and Lizzie Sobinoff appeared surprised, but now it’s come to light that Bronson knew all along. Errr…weird!

This came as news to Ines, who told Punkee that she was surprised to hear reports that Bronson knew about the affair, considering she was made to feel guilty on the show for deceiving him. “Not sure why Bronson would reveal this now, he should have kept going with the poor me victim role. Now he looks plain sad to be in a secret pact with another male against a woman who was totally oblivious to all of this,” she said.

“I am so disappointed to see and be hearing about all of this now. I spent two years in therapy hating myself when they [Bronson] knew,” Ines continued, adding that she believes she copped “the most unbalanced edit in reality history.”

“There’s a lot of women who work on that show who would have been aware of what was going on too, so that is heavily disheartening,” Ines said.

Ines first caused controversy on Married at First Sight Australia for her treatment of Bronson on their honeymoon. However, she maintains that her harsh judgement of him while filming the reality show were correct. “I always trust my intuition and I just knew something was off with the guy, and the entire situation, and turns out I was right. Which is a great message to send out to women — always go with your gut.”
