OH MY GOD: Bryce & Melissa Are Not Only Engaged But Having Two ‘MAFS’ Babies
In news that will leave most Married at First Sight fans baffled, rocky couple Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson are not only engaged — but are expecting twins.
In a New Idea exclusive cover story, Bryce and Melissa confirmed the exciting news. “We’d already been married on the show and, with our relationship getting stronger, this just felt like the logical next step,” Melissa told the publication.

Bryce added, “We’re not doing this for anybody else, it’s about us — we’re cementing our love,” he said. “Melissa deserves to be happy and I’m apparently very good at that, so I’m looking forward to making it all official.”
Following the season filming, Bryce moved to Melbourne to live with Melissa on the Mornington Peninsula. They have only lived together for a few months, and suddenly they’re engaged and starting a family. “It’s all happened very fast,” Bryce said.
“People saw on the show how supportive and loyal Mel was. I’m pleased to say that’s transitioned to the real world.”

Bryce and Melissa had a turbulent journey on MAFS, plagued by a rumour that Bryce had a secret girlfriend. By the end of the season, most of the brides and groom weren’t even speaking to Bryce. So can we expect any of the costars to be invited to the wedding? Bryce reckons: “I’m still close to Jason, he’ll be there and Cameron, Russell, and James…we’ll see.”
