Married at First Sight continues to bring the drama with Family Week coming to a crashing end last night.

The ongoing tensions between Cam and Lyndall only worsened with the arrival of the country’s lad country mum. Did you know they’re from the country? Did you know that Sydney is a city? Did you know that Cam likes open spaces, and not tiny Sydney apartments? Well, Cam’s mum filled us all in, along with just being a bit of a Karen for her entire visit while showing zero sympathy towards Lyndall. Huge yikes.

Then there was the boys’ night butt dial saga that has begun which (knowing this show) will probably dominate the drama for the next few episodes. When will the fellas learn that no good ever comes from boys’ night?! Let’s rehash the big ‘ol mess via some perfect tweets.

Last night’s final Family Week instalment on Married at First Sight recapped in very funny tweets:

Tahnee and Ollie bring their fam/friends together, who all agree that this couple couldn’t be more compatible. On the flip-side, Cameron’s mum is already kicking off over his tiny apartment and describes Sydney as “depressing”, okay calm down mumma.

Cameron and Lyndall debrief about a chat he had with his mum where she called Lyndall ‘insecure’ for wanting affection. They then get into a feud about their mums and Cam storms off. After some time away, he later admits he needs to “show up” and “show more affection”.

Melinda and Layton meet with their loved ones where they share that they are almost perfect aside from all the fighting. Lol. Bronte and Harrison reunite with Bronte’s sister Kirra to tell her about the phone number saga. Kirra is not thrilled, telling Harrison that if ‘he f**ks with Bronte, he f**ks with her’.

Dan is missing again so Sandy visits Claire to get some advice. She shares that Dan has made her feel inadequate and not good enough for him.

Claire organises a squash date to impress Jesse before heading to a music store to play around, then gifting him a crystal which helps its holder let go of past experiences. Are these two back on course? Possibly!

Evelyn and Rupert complete the photo-ranking challenge with ease, while Hugo is still trying to make amends with Tayla over ranking her second last.

Dan returns in time to tell Sandy that she’s in her PJs too early in the night. He accuses her of trying to start an argument, and mocks her for ‘sitting on the couch all day’. He then boasts that he will “only run with people who will keep up with me”. Disgusting man.

Some of the grooms went out the night before which (of course) means something toxic went down. Evelyn tells Rupert that he butt-dialled her and she overheard Hugo and Dan speaking negatively about their wives. Evelyn relays to Sandy that Dan said he was too good for her, and he had been bragging to the boys about his hot ex-girlfriends.

Sandy falls apart and we demand swift, unrelenting justice!
