Hide your boyfriends, girlfriends, or any significant other you may hold dear because the cheating scandal the Married at First Sight promos have been teasing all week finally began last night.

After secretly texting behind Dion’s back, Carolina met up with Daniel for a gym session on Tuesday night’s episode. While Dion was writing Carolina a letter, she was flirting up a storm with Daniel as she told him how low she ranked Dion and how high she positioned Daniel in the attractiveness photo challenge. Daniel ended the secret rendezvous by telling Carolina: “See you, future wife.”

We hate to see it!

When Carolina returned to her shared apartment with Dion, she was not having a bar of him. Despite all of Dion’s efforts to ignite some romance between them — penning her a letter, arranging a (rather sad) cheese platter, and cooking her dinner — Carolina remained uninterested. Dion finally had enough after they got into a screaming match where Carolina threw several unkind barbs at him, even labelling him “delusional”, and Dion moved out.

The other couples had a comparatively relaxed week of meeting the parents, so let’s jump into the episode through the best tweets, shall we?

Last night’s hot mess of a Married at First Sight episode recapped in very funny tweets:

Jackson and Olivia sat down to have a wholesome chat with their mums: Mandy and Sandy. The meeting the parents challenge also brought Selina and Cody closer together.

The same can’t be said for Samantha and Al, as Sam’s parents grilled Al on his five-year plan, leaving Sam worried he isn’t ambitious enough for her. Afterwards, they shared a picnic and Sam said she was having doubts about their relationship.

Kate and Matt completed the photo ranking challenge but things got awkward when Kate regretted ranking Matt highly, as she worried she was giving him false hope.

Mitch got some relationship advice from (*checks notes*) Cody — a real choice! Meanwhile, Ella debriefed with Tamara and Dom to warn them not to start drama with Mitch at the upcoming dinner party.

While Dion wrote Carolina a heartfelt letter, she met Daniel for a gym sesh. What’s that? Infidelity in the air?

Dion read his letter to Carolina before making her dinner, but she was too busy on her phone to notice or care.

Tensions boiled over between Dion and Carolina ending in a huge blow-up. She told him he “has nothing” for her and was “delusional” to think he could salvage their relationship. Dion promptly moved out.
