‘MAFS’ Confessions Week Madness Recapped In Messy Tweets

It’s going to be make-or-break this week for our Married At First Sight couples, as Confessions Week arrives to wreak havoc among our cast.

After enduring their first dinner party and the bickering of Harrison and Bronte, the lucky (and not-so-lucky) couples are moving into their apartments. To shake things up even more, the couples are confronted with their first round of tasks for Confessions Week.

Like other years, there’s gonna be rankings, emotional letters, makeups and possible breakups, so you bet that Twitter was popping off with the quick MAFS reactions.

So grab some popcorn and relive the chaotic start of Confessions Week on MAFS via these hilarious tweets:

Jesse was the first to arrive at the apartment, and he quickly critiques everything, labelling his new apartment as ‘Claire’s type’. Claire eventually arrives, and the pair agree to start their relationship from scratch.

Harrison tries to make amends with a small cake. Bronte calls Harrison out for not asking her if she was okay when she left the table crying at the dinner party. Their chat turns into an argument, and Bronte locks herself in another room. Harrison calls Bronte “irrational” and claims she was “making communication impossible.”

Yewwwww! It’s drama time. Confessions Week begins with Tahnee and Ollie, who get the photo ranking task. But OFC, these two are head-over-heels and rank each other as number one. Tahnee even said Josh gives off “sugar daddy vibes.”

Shannon and Caitlin are next, and at first he ranked Melinda first and his wife second. But then he moves her pic to third place while making a crude remark about how she looks not wearing makeup. In. The. Bin.

Moving on to the hunk of MAFS, Duncan. Alyssa reveals to Duncan that she once had an affair with a married man. The confession leaves Duncan with a lot of questions and concerns, as he had been cheated on before. The next morning, Duncan reassures her that he’s still willing to stay married and thanks her for her honesty.

Sandy and Dan are the next couple to air out their confessions. In a heartbreaking letter, Sandy opened up about how she was a victim of racism during her childhood and how it impacts her today.

Harrison and Bronte are up next, and they get the task of photo ranking, because what could go wrong, ammirite? Bronte ranks Harrison second for attraction. She then tells Harrison that she’s looking for someone who is “sensitive and empathetic” and he replies by saying, “you’re looking at him.” SIDE EYE.

Bronte and Harrison’s task erupts into an argument after Bronte brought up the differences in their love languages. Harrison then calls her “unattractive” because of her attitude towards him.

Claire and Jesse are handed the letter writing task. Things get emotional when Jesse reveals that a past relationship is the reason he ‘doesn’t chase girls’, telling Claire, “I was kept a secret for two entire years”.

Caitlin catches Shannon calling his ex, who he was previously engaged to prior to MAFS. Caitlin confronts Shannon about his phone call, and he reveals that he still loves his ex. Caitlin breaks down in tears as she is unsure where she and Shannon stand.
