Married At First Sight’s Cyrell & Love Island’s Eden Are Expecting A Baby
Married at First Sight fave Cyrell Paule and Love Island runner-up Eden Dally have announced they are expecting a baby.
The couple announced the news in a feature for New Idea, showing images from the baby’s ultrasound and Cyrell cradling a small bump.
Cyrell told the magazine that finding out she was pregnant came as a surprise:
“I’ll be honest, it was not planned. I was freaked out thinking about Eden’s reaction. Then my friend settled me down and I thought, “What did I want?” We went to the shops and I bought three pregnancy tests. I screamed and cried! Then I went and bought a fourth one,” she said.
“It sunk in eventually. I’ve got nothing against it, but for me I don’t have the strength to have an abortion. So I knew, then, I’m having a baby!”
Eden said he was equally shocked. “I was on my phone and I got this text. She said, ‘Eden, I’m pregnant, and I’m like, ‘What?’ I didn’t know what to feel. I was a bit in shock and took a while to process it,” he said.
“Then we spoke and I said, ‘Whatever you want to do, I’ll support you and be there for the child.’ It wasn’t expected. But it’s happening, I’m excited and I can’t wait to have this little baby.”
Cyrell revealed that her brother, Ivan, had given his blessing.
“My brother Ivan was shocked. But out of all my boyfriends, weirdly enough, he really likes Eden! They get along. So, they just ended up shaking hands. When I did tell Ivan, he said: “You’re a grown woman and Eden is a good guy,'” Cyrell said.
The couple went on to say that they are aware some will think their news is a publicity stunt, as Cyrell added, “I wouldn’t be surprised if my child is going to get called a publicity stunt. That’s sad, because the baby has nothing to do with it.”
