Tonight’s Infuriating ‘Married At First Sight’ Dinner Retold In Funny Tweets
I hope you enjoy screaming obscenities at your TV screen because tonight’s Married at First Sight dinner party was truly painful to endure.
To cap off Intimacy Week, the couples converged on the second dinner party where Andrew made quick work of turning basically everyone in the room against Holly. He switched on the tears and waffled on about how he thinks he failed himself and Holly, while neglecting to mention that in his last interaction with Holly he labelled her a narcissist and was thrown out of her apartment. Without hearing the full story, the contestants empathised with Andrew — even leading to a cringeworthy group hug.
Holly did not stand a chance. By the time she arrived, the group had already decided that Andrew was the victim. And Holly ignoring Andrew when she entered only further fed the narrative he had created. The two contestants who believed his version of events the most were Tamara and Olivia, who praised Andrew while throwing shots at Holly before she arrived. It was awful.
But Holly did not stand down, even moving her chair away from Andrew when seated for dinner. She eventually spoke to Andrew with the help of Selin and Anthony, ending in Andrew walking out on dinner. Will he ever return? It doesn’t look like it!
Things weren’t much better between Tamara and Brent, who started the episode in the midst of an explosive argument. Then there’s Ella and Mitch, another couple who exchanged harsh words tonight. What a mess!
If Selin and Anthony are starting to look like a functioning couple — you know things aren’t great!
Tonight’s infuriating Married at First Sight dinner party recapped in tweets:
Brent and Tamara begin the episode in the middle of a huge argument, apparently Tamara called Brent a “c**t” when asking him to turn down the TV. When they arrive first at the dinner party, the fighting continues.

Dom apologised to Anthony for her treatment of him at the last dinner party, before Andrew arrives and dominated the entire conversation by talking about his attempts to self-improve.
Dom really said sorry for talking shit about you, now lets talk shit about holly and andrew #MAFS

Tamara and Olivia both come for Holly and offer support to Andrew. Tamara scolds Holly for not apologising while Olivia calls her ‘disrespectful’. Andrew cries and some of the contestants embrace him in a group hug. Yuck.

Holly arrives and her entrance is one for the ages. She receives a frosty reception and things become more awkward when she refuses to engage with Andrew. This offends Olivia (??) who then interrogates Holly about her dismissal of Andrew.

It’s dinner time! Holly kicks things off by dragging her chair to the opposite end of the table away from Andrew. This leads to another interrogation, as Tamara and Olivia try to find out what’s prompted this reaction from her.

Up the other end of the table, Dom confronted Andrew about what he had said to Holly. She later says in a confessional that she suspects he’s a “bullshit artist”. Amen sister.

The feud between Brent and Tamara continued, and things weren’t much better between Mitch and Ella. Mitch got heated during a discussion, dismissing Ella’s feelings, and making cruel comments about her being ‘insecure’.
Funny that Tamara can say Brent is a different person behind closed doors but doesn’t believe Holly when she says the same thing about Andrew. #MAFSAU #MAFS

As Holly became increasingly alienated from the group, Al took her away to have a heart-to-heart. In turn, she tried to teach him how to initiate more affection with Samantha.
