Another week, another Married at First Sight dinner party to make us all grateful for our boring, drama-free lives.

On Wednesday’s episode, Dion and Carolina arrived separately after having an explosive argument which prompted Dion to move into his own apartment. Dion wasted no time sharing his side of the story when arriving to dinner, easily winning over the rest of the contestants with Dom even labelling Carolina as a “bully”.

This meant that by the time Carolina arrived, she already had people against her. She didn’t help herself when dinner began and she ranted about Dion’s taste in music and distaste for breakfast. Despite Dion spending most of his night bad-mouthing Carolina, he did make an attempt to salvage their relationship at the end of the night but Carolina wasn’t too keen.

Other drama that brewed throughout the night included Dom talking to Mitch about his previous threats to leave the experiment, and Kate not pulling any punches in her harsh statements about Matt. Thankfully, Al was there to ease some of the tension with a dance performance that no one quite understood, but we appreciated all the same.

Dion arrives alone to the dinner party and immediately spilt all the details of his never-ending clashes with Carolina throughout the week. The room sided with Dion, especially Dom who called Caroline a “bully”.

Carolina arrived and gave Dion a frosty reception. When dinner began, she ranted to the group about how Dion doesn’t like breakfast or rap music, before saying he plays the victim.

The group found out that Mitch was considering leaving the experiment, but Dom (of all people??) managed to talk some sense into him.

Kate unleashed about how little she liked Matt in earshot of him, making him finally realise she might not be that into him.

Al attempted to break the tension by performing some confusing dance routine.

Dion pulled Carolina aside to find out if she was willing to give their relationship a try but she wouldn’t give him a definitive answer.
