Last Night’s Dramatic ‘MAFS’ Dinner Party Retold In Tweets

Gird your loins fam, as last night’s Married at First Sight dinner party was the most dramatic so far this season.

On the back of the intruder brides and grooms joining the experiment, Wednesday night’s episode saw one of the newbies clash with an OG. Our most recently hitched couple — Jessica and Daniel — have gone from bad to worse, getting into an argument on the way to dinner over the correct way to instruct the driver to decrease the air-conditioning. This followed Jess referring to Dan as a “little bitch” on their honeymoon.

Tensions were high when they finally arrived at the dinner party and the other couples soon noticed Jess and Dan were barely speaking. When dinner began, Jess was quick to share her side of the story and speak over Dan. This led to Dom pressing Dan over what actually happened and Jess relayed the “little bitch” comment to the group.

Dom wasn’t buying what Jess was selling and she called her out repeatedly during the night. If that wasn’t enough drama for one evening, Carolina and Dan stole some time together which alluded to a potential partner-swap between the contestants. A cheating scandal? On this show? Well, I never!

The dinner party was a lot, so let’s rehash it all via the night’s funniest tweets!

Before the dinner party had even started, Daniel and Jessica were already at war. At the end of the honeymoon, Jess called Daniel a “little bitch”, then on the drive to dinner they fought again over the correct way to ask the driver how to turn down the air-con.

As the intruders arrived at dinner, Al welcomed the new recruits with a shoey. Matt joined Al in sipping from his shoe, much to the horror of his wife Kate who already looks permanently unimpressed.

Al also found the time to compliment Daniel’s teeth… which is super normal!

The group sensed the tension between Daniel and Jess and once dinner began, Jess immediately started bagging out her new husband, while he sat beside her in silence.

Dom sensed there was another side to the story and she quizzed Daniel about what had gone wrong between the new couple. As Jess dropped the “little bitch” comment, Dom had a go at Jess leading to her walking to the opposite end of the table.

But Dom wasn’t done! Later in the night, she sat beside Jess and labelled her a “petulant child”. Dom then asked the whole room to vote to prove her point: Jess and Daniel are not unique, as every couple have had stages where they haven’t got along. Jess left the party.

Back with our original couples, after having a bad week Selina and Cody were barely speaking. Cody announced to the table that he can’t give Selina what she needs, prompting her to start crying, yet Cody made no attempt to comfort her. This man!

Another couple who are heading for an early split are Selin and Anthony. They butted heads this week over Anthony putting his feet on the coffee table and, at dinner, tensions boiled over when Anthony told Selin he’s put in more effort than her. In response, she brought up the time he bought her a Macca’s coffee and sent her the receipt.

As the night came to a close, Carolina and Daniel had a rather suggestive conversation where they both admitted they were each other’s types. Another cheating scandal on this show? We think so!
