10 Clues That Suggest Duncan And Evelyn From ‘MAFS’ Are Actually Dating
In case you hadn’t heard, practically everyone is convinced that Duncan James and Evelyn Ellis from MAFS are dating.
Everyone being us Married At First Sight fans who have never so much as met Duncan nor Evelyn and have learned everything we know about them through our TV screens and their social media accounts.
Anyways, while the dating theories floating around about the two very attractive humans may not exactly stand up in the court of law, we think they’re pretty compelling. Which is exactly why we’ve scoured every corner of the internet to bring you some proof that Duncan and Evelyn are kinda-sorta-maybe a thing.
Behold, 10 convincing clues that the MAFS alum have secretly shacked up:
And are (hopefully) not bamboozling us like Brent Vitiello and Ella Ding from last year’s season.
Clue 1: Evelyn poured tequila down Duncan’s throat at her viewing party
Of course, Evelyn wasn’t an original cast member on Married At First Sight and joined the group partway through when she and fellow intruder Rupert were married.
The same day that Evelyn made her debut on the show, Daily Mail Australia published photos of her partying with four male cast members, and her husband Rupert was notably absent. You know who was there, though? Yep, you guessed it: Duncan.
According to the publication, Evelyn poured champagne into Duncan’s mouth at the watch party, which is obviously a confirmation that they’re ready to settle down together.
Clue 2: Duncan had a thing for Evelyn during the MAFS couple-swap

Cast your mind back to the MAFS couple-swap that aired in mid-March: we shipped Cam and Lyndall, Bronte was still pretending to like Harrison, and much to our viewing pleasure, Evelyn and Duncan were paired together giving us a glimmer of hope for the most attractive MAFS offspring ever.
While nothing romantic happened between Duncan and Evelyn on TV, an insider told New Idea that Duncan was secretly feeling the NSW model.
“Duncan had the best time with Evelyn. The fun part of him came out again. He wondered what it would have been like if they were matched together from the start,” the source said. “He is definitely attracted to her.”
Clue 3: Evelyn and Duncan apparently got Rupert’s blessing to date

Not long after Evelyn’s introduction to the show, whispers began about a possible romantic link between her and Duncan, which was almost definitely fuelled by the fact that they’re both hot, but let’s ignore that for research’s sake.
At the time, So Dramatic! spilled some tea, which in hindsight ruined the ending but still holds weight, by revealing that both Evelyn and Duncan asked Evelyn’s on-screen husband for his blessing for them to date. Remember, MAFS was filmed late last year, so by the time the show aired Evelyn and Rupert were well and truly donezo.
“Rupert has confirmed to a number of cast members that Evelyn and Duncan are now dating,” an unnamed contestant told the publication. “He said they both contacted him separately and asked him if they could have his blessing to progress to a romantic relationship.”
Clue 4: A leaked vid showed Evelyn and Duncan dirty dancing in a club
Perhaps the most compelling piece of evidence yet is a short clip of Evelyn and Duncan aggressively dirty dancing that was leaked to the media and absolutely lapped up by fans.

The horny energy exuded from the video SURELY confirms their dreamy dalliance, but we aren’t done yet.
Clue 5: Duncan and Evelyn were allegedly spotted making out in Sydney
Sure, friends go to their friend’s viewing parties (?), and they also sometimes dirty dance together. But you know what friends don’t normally do? Make out.
If the anonymous source is to be believed, Duncan and Evelyn were spotted sharing a disco pash at a Sydney pub on April 14, according to So Dramatic!.
Clue 6: Evelyn reportedly implied that she’d explore things with Duncan in the future
Bear with us, because we’re still fixated on *that* dirty dance sesh between Evelyn and Duncan that we touched on in clue four.
Joshua Fox — who works on KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O show and runs the gossip account @mafsfunny — has a very close relationship with the participants, and he told the radio hosts that Evelyn told him she hadn’t ruled out a romantic relationship with Duncan.
Speaking of the infamous dirty dancing clip, Evelyn said: “We’re just friends, it was nice to go out and have some fun.” Adding that they hadn’t “explored any connection yet” because the show was still airing. Keyword: yet.
Clue 7: A nameless source officially confirmed they were dating
Just weeks after the finale aired and when Evelyn and Duncan were finally free to debut their truly beautiful new relationship, a source told Yahoo Lifestyle that the two reality stars were, in fact, dating.
“They’re not boyfriend or girlfriend or anything like that, but they’re going on dates and telling friends they’re seeing each other,” they said.
“Neither of them wants to rush into anything so they’re taking things slow for now, but they’re both into each other.”
Clue 8: Duncan posts an IG picture with Evelyn’s beloved dog
More recently, we finally freed our shackles of ~anonymous sources~ and were thrown another breadcrumb about their potential coupling by Duncan himself. The reality star shared a series of pics of him, quite weirdly, posing on a jetty.
The interesting part? The inclusion of the back of a brown dog’s head that looks a *lot* like Evelyn’s dog Mustard… or Pickles. The kicker was the caption which read “Forced to take these…” Swap out the dots for the words “by Evelyn” which we clearly know he meant.

Clue 9: Duncan was caught with his arm *maybe* around Evelyn
Just when we started to slightly give up hope for a relationship between Australia’s most beautiful reality stars, Evelyn threw us a scrap on TikTok to keep us interested.

At first, the clip may look like your typical influencer’s “pass your phone to…” trend video feat. her old castmates. However, if you pause the camera at 13.56 seconds (yes, I’m aware of the stalker energy that sentence exudes) the camera catches Duncan with his arm around someone that looks suspiciously like Evelyn.

Clue 10: Evelyn and Duncan stuck together on a recent cast night out
Now that we’ve all but convinced you that Evelyn and Duncan are most definitely together, we’ll leave you with some mildly lukewarm tea from this week about the two lovebirds apparently standing close to each other at a recent cast night out.
“Duncan and Evelyn arrived together and then met up with the other MAFS people. They spent most of the night together,” an onlooker told Yahoo Lifestyle.
