Ella & Brent From ‘MAFS’ Have Taken Their Relationship To The Next Level
Since Married at First Sight wrapped up, Ella Ding and Brent Vitiello have maintained they’re only good mates but it looks like they’ve finally broken out of the friendzone.
Ella and Brent were hitched to two of the season’s biggest villains — Mitch Eynaud and Tamara Djordjevic — so it was natural for fans to root for the two MAFS faves to get together after the show.
And now in an interview on the So Dramatic! podcast, Ella dropped a bombshell: she and Brent have kissed! “Yeah, I did kiss him, on the lips….on the lip area once… on my birthday,” she revealed. “We’re both very physically attracted to each other, there’s no denying that.”
This revelation follows Ella and Brent recently spending time together in her hometown of Melbourne, along with their costar Al Perkins.
In another interview of Fitzy and Wippa, when the hosts dropped that they were sending Ella and Brent on a holiday to Port Douglas together, when Wippa asked if they wanted a single bedroom or two rooms, Ella replied: “Well I mean Brent and I have had sleepovers so I feel like a one bedder is more than okay.”
However in the So Dramatic! interview, Ella said that at this stage, she still only considered Brent a friend. “If something was genuinely going on with Brent… I’d have no shame in telling everyone,” she said. “Right now, we are really just friends. We’re just getting to know each other.”
Ella expressed hesitation over becoming romantic with Brent at risk of affecting the strong friendship they’ve built. “You would hate to risk losing someone because it just didn’t go the right way, or you had this pressure and you just did it for the sake of it,” Ella said. “I’m not willing to risk what we have right now.”
Say what you will Ella, but Brent has done little to dissuade ‘Brella’ stans from thinking these two were meant to be, even sharing a montage of the two contestants together on TikTok.
