Married at First Sight is wrapping up for another year, with final dates taking place on last night’s episode.

But there was one noticeable absence on Tuesday night’s instalment: where was Olivia and Jackson’s date? Options are that the couple’s date will be shown tonight before girls’ and boys’ night, or producers have decided to cut the couple out of the show going forward. Either way, it’s clear Jackson and Olivia are being treated differently in their edit since the photo scandal came to light. And tbh, we can’t blame producers.

It’s arguably what Olivia deserves for her cruel treatment of Dom by circulating a nude image from her OnlyFans — and showing no remorse. We will keep an eye out for the couple’s date on tonight’s episode, but until then, let’s talk about the final dates from last night because aside from dream couple Dom and Jack, it truly brought out the worst in some people… and by people, we mean Mitch, Cody, and Tamara.

While Mitch and Cody both refused to clarify their longterm plans with Ella and Selina, Tamara just straight-up attacked Brent’s character, made toxic comments about masculinity, before she offended every hospitality worker in the country. This would be shocking coming from anyone who wasn’t Tamara but by this stage, her comments were simply par for the course. This is the same person who said at her wedding that retail workers lacked ambition.

Good luck to Tamara next time she goes shopping or eats out at restaurant again. She’ll need it.

It’s time for final dates! Cody and Selina arrived at the Hunter Valley to go on a hot air ballooning date. Selina asked Cody if his future plans included her, and Cody replied that he hasn’t been thinking “too longterm”. OK then!

Over lunch, Selina asked again and Cody turned the question around on her, saying he didn’t know how Selina felt about him. They talked in circles and Selina accused Cody of gaslighting her. Cody tried to make amends by telling Selina how lucky he felt to be paired with her.

After jet-skiing, Ella and Mitch had a similar debate over the future of their relationship. Mitch became evasive when asked to clarify with Ella what their relationship status will be after the experiment.

Jack took Dom on an Italian-inspired date to an enchanting cobbled street to enjoy some gelato, drive around in a mini, and have a romantic dinner. They celebrated their journey so far, before slow-dancing to traditional Italian music. MY HEART IS FULL!!

Tamara and Brent played with some puppies before taking to the high seas for a three-course meal on a yacht. They got into an argument over past regrets, when Tamara said she believed Brent hid behind his ego, then emasculated him for being “moody”. Tamara even revealed she hasn’t wanted to be with Brent lately, prompting Brent to walk off. Tamara then ranted about Brent, belittling him for “waiting tables”.

Did Olivia and Jackson have a final date? Who knows! Do we care? Not really!
