Ines & Jessika From ‘MAFS’ Have Accused Martha Of Cheating On Michael

Hoeeeeeeeeeeee boy. If you were thinking this year’s Married at First Sight was dramatic, it turns out there’s a whole lot more drama happening off-screen and not even with this season’s cast.

The friendship between 2019 contestants Martha Kalifatidis, Jessika Power, and Ines Basic seems to be well and truly over, after Ines and Jess took to Instagram to accuse Martha of cheating on her current partner and MAFS husband Michael Brunelli.

Their rants were prompted by Martha going live on Instagram and commenting on why she was no longer friends with Ines and Jess, joking that she would rather have root canal surgery than speak to either of them again.

This led to Ines levelling some pretty extreme vitriol at her, posting the following story saying that Martha had cheated on Michael:

She didn’t stop there…

Jess then reposted Ines’ story adding a few of her own comments, which included accusations that Martha had said she was going to leave Michael and errr…had hooked up with another cast member.

Some of spiciest parts read:

“And the fact that you were sleeping with your ex-boyfriend over the Christmas period and when I seen you at the airport when we’re arriving to film the reunion. Or the fact that during the experiments you would show me messages and crap on about how you were considering leaving Michael so you could be with an Arab sheik because, and I quote ‘who cares doll he takes me shopping at Gucci and YSL and that’s my lifestyle you know? Michael is a school teacher! What could ever offer me?’ please note she said this towards the end of the experiment,” Jess wrote.

“We’ve both kept our names shut for ages about why we avoided you at the Logies so here’s the real reason. Oh and the fact that you were romantically involved with a cast member at the start of last year and denied it. You’re as fake as it comes. Constantly talking down about people even your fans! I’m over it and I’m sure everyone else is.”

Jess ended her Instagram rant by addressing Martha, writing “Just leave us alone! It’s been a year for goodness sake.”

Ooft. What a mess. Martha has since told the Daily Mail that she denies the cheating accusations, while Michael posted an Instagram story of himself and Martha pashing, with a ‘Fake News’ animation across the top.
