While he currently lives in Brisbane, Liam reckons he’s a typical Aussie bogan, because he grew up on a farm and enjoys riding horses. A real horse boy, if you will.
Just don’t get on the wrong side of Liam, as he likes to speak his mind and admits that he tends to stir the pot when he gets bored. Liam’s last relationship was six years ago, and he said he struggles dating because “people find him too much”.

While he currently dates women exclusively and is looking to settle down with a woman, Liam identifies as bisexual. In a controversial moment during his wedding reception, when he and his pink-loving bride, Georgia Fairweather, approached the current MAFS contestants, Liam was seemingly outed in front of the group and forced to confirm his bisexuality.
Thankfully, when he spoke to Georgia privately she was accepting of Liam’s sexuality. Sadly, this hasn’t always been the case for Liam in his hometown. “A lot of people I wouldn’t say were homophobic, but they just weren’t educated around it so you felt like you couldn’t come out or be yourself. You had to be that stereotypical country boy. It was really hard growing up in that environment,” Liam told 9Entertainment.
“Nobody knew about it. Nobody really talked about it. It was a taboo thing to talk about in country towns so I would feel trapped. You can’t really talk to your mates about it because if you did you kind of were shunned upon.”

After feeling like he couldn’t live as his authentic self, when Liam turned 25 he moved out of his hometown to Brisbane. “You go through the dark days and then one day I was like, ‘I don’t want to live like this. I want to be open and I want to be who I am.’ I packed up everything and I left my country town and I went to Brisbane. As soon as I got to Brisbane, I felt that was where I belonged,” he said. I’m not crying, you’re crying!!
The only question left to be answered is: do Liam and his Elle Woods lookalike bride go the distance? This is unlikely. The couple has not been spotted together since the show wrapped.
In an interview on Today Extra, while both Liam and Georgia were interviewed together, they were located in different states, so this might indicate they’ve gone their separate ways. Meanwhile, The Wash has reported that Liam has been spotted flirting with another MAFS bride, jokingly writing to Samantha in her Instagram comments, “Are you single?”. Georgia? He doesn’t know her!
We’ve learnt two things here: Liam has a thing for blondes, and maybe pink is not his colour.
