The Married at First Sight curse has claimed another couple, as Lizzie Sobinoff and Seb Guilhaus have confirmed they have broken up.

Lizzie and Seb got TV married on the 2020 season of MAFS, and have been dating ever since, even moving in together in June. Their relationship followed Lizzie’s 2019 stint on the reality show, when she was paired with Sam Ball.

The news will come as a surprise to fans, as the couple were known for posting plenty of cute photos and videos together on their social media platforms. Their most recent couple snap was posted on Lizzie’s ‘Gram as recent as Boxing Day.

Both Lizzie and Seb posted a breakup announcement Monday morning, read the full post below:

This means that the only remaining couples from the show’s seven seasons are Erin Bateman and Bryce Mohr, Jules and Cam Merchant, along with Martha Kalifatidis and boyfriend Michael Brunelli. Yikes.

Ahead of Season 8 kicking off in 2021, this is not a good start for the year. We’re praying this year’s cast form some longer lasting relationships, but knowing this show’s track record, we’re not holding our breath.
