Tash Has Had A Dig At The Editing Of Last Night’s ‘Married At First Sight’ Episode
One relationship on Married at First Sight that seems to be falling apart before it even began is the series’ first lesbian couple Tash and Amanda.
During last night’s honeymoon episode it seemed as soon as the couple arrived to Daydream Island, Tash became distant and wasn’t interested in doing anything with her new bride — instead we saw montages of her sitting alone listening to music and meditating.
But Tash took to Instagram overnight and reckons that what we saw last night wasn’t painting the entire picture. She wrote that she and Amanda actually did loads of things together, which led to the “tension” we saw during the episode.
Tash admitted that tension built after a bunch of dates with Amanda, so she decided to spend some time alone in an effort to avoid a confrontation.
The episode ended in a massive blow-up between the two, as Amanda said she wanted to return to share a room with Tash, but Tash said that would make her uncomfortable. Amanda’s extreme reaction left people on Twitter wondering whether this would be acceptable coming from a man.
If Amanda were a man, pressuring a woman like this, and it would rightly be called out. This is fucked up. #mafs

Amanda is actually bordering on abusive. Imagine just for one second that she was a guy behaving like that… #MAFS #MAFSAU She just cannot deal with someone not reciprocating her attraction

This is likely just the beginning of a very messy faux marriage. Let’s hope these two crazy kids can make it work.
