I hope you marked last night’s episode of Married at First Sight in your calendar because it was truly a historic piece of reality TV.

The walk-out that has been teased in the promos for weeks finally happened — and it was so damn satisfying. The contestants getting up and walking out on the commitment ceremony came after Carolina and Daniel crashed the ceremony, before asking the experts if they could rejoin the experiment as a couple. The audacity of these two!

After weeks of Carolina putting zero effort into her relationship with Dion, then gaslighting him into thinking she was the only one trying, she then showed up with a different groom. This came as no surprise to viewers who had watched the “affair” play out for the past two weeks and by “affair” we mean Carolina and Daniel going to the gym, before dry-humping in some seedy bar.

But none of the contestants, nor Dion, were privy to any of this information so when Carolina and Daniel walked in holding hands, a goddamn riot almost broke out. The experts did their best to calm the angry crowd, but the likes of Dom and Brent kept heckling the controversial couple as they sat with the experts.

In the end, Daddy John was in full force and he told the presumptuous pair in no uncertain terms that he would never let them reenter the experiment. It was so harsh, but so fair!

Carolina and Daniel’s brief but memorable time on the experts’ couch wasn’t the only drama that went down last night, so let’s rehash it all in tweets, OK? OK!

Last night’s Married at First Sight commitment ceremony walk-out recapped in funny tweets:

It’s the big walk-out episode that’s been teased all season and our bodies are ready.

Tamara dropped a bombshell on Brent: she doesn’t feel the same way about him as he does about her. Brent was left shocked and regretting his decision to stay when Tamara voted to leave.

Al and Samantha were (again) at breaking point as Sam dragged her partner for being entitled. Sam told the experts she wanted to leave the experiment and was left infuriated when Al voted to stay.

As Dom sat on the couch with Jack, the experts asked what went down on girls’ night. Olivia had the chance to make peace but instead said she would never be friends with Dom. Dom was unimpressed and Ella backed up her friend. Bestie goals, right here.

Jackson revealed he saw a snarky side of Olivia for the first time this week, while the experts were like: have you met your wife?

All of a sudden, Carolina and Daniel burst into the room holding hands. The room quickly descended into chaos and John had to calm everyone down. However, when the new couple announced their intention to rejoin the experiment, the contestants walked out of the room in protest.

Despite their request to reenter the experiment, the experts told Carolina and Daniel they refused to allow them to continue on the show.

Sorry about it!
