I hope you like screaming at your TV because last night’s Married at First Sight was one of the worst displays of victim-blaming and slut-shaming ever platformed on an Australian reality show.

It was not a good time! I actually felt unclean after watching it, and like many viewers waking up today, I’m left with a bitter feeling about most of the contestants still in the experiment.

Wednesday night’s dinner party began with some of the contestants whispering about a naked photo of Dom being circulated amongst the group, which we learn came from Olivia Googling Dom and finding her OnlyFans account after the wine glass incident. Super normal, healthy behaviour!

After nearly everyone spoke about the photo at the cocktail party (as spearheaded by Olivia) it was brought up in front of Dom and Jack when dinner began. For some unknown reason, Cody was the one to announce to the table that “we’ve all seen an image of you pretty much naked,” before asking accusatorially if Jack knew about Dom’s OnlyFans.

This prompted Jack to confirm that he did know about the page and had no issue with it, in one of many iconic moments Jack provided last night. He then went to town on the whole group, quizzing them on who was the person that sent the photo around. Olivia eventually confirmed she found the photo but showed zero remorse or empathy for Dom’s situation.

To add to the pile on, Tamara blamed Dom for the photo being shared around the group, actually saying that she brought it on herself for having an OnlyFans in the first place. The entire group expressed no regret or even understanding for how their actions impacted Dom, with only Ella and Brent coming to her defence.

The night ended in an argument between Dom and Olivia, who continued to dismiss Dom’s feelings and refused to engage with her. Dom eventually stormed out and Jack followed. The entire episode was horrible TV viewing. The only saving grace will be the experts defending Dom at Sunday’s commitment ceremony, as all three remained disgusted by the bulk of the contestants’ reactions last night — and viewers were right there with them!

The couples are back in Sydney and you know what that means? It’s dinner party time! But before the first cocktail is served, the contestants are in a frenzy over a nude photo of Dom that’s been circulating among the group.

At the cocktail party, Olivia revealed to Tamara that she had googled Dom to find the pic from her OnlyFans.

Selina is concerned about Dom finding out that everyone is gossiping, but Olivia does not care. Tamara also suggests that Dom had it coming for ‘putting it out there’. The slut-shaming and victim-blaming going on at this cocktail party is frightening.

Jack and Dom arrived in time for dinner to commence. Cody immediately announces that the whole group has seen Dom naked and asks Jack if he knows Dom has an OnlyFans account, which he confirms he did. Jack is a goddamn king.

Jack continued to grill the group to find out who circulated the photo and finally Olivia said she asked a friend to google Dom, which was different to a story she said previously.

The only woman in the room who could distinguish between right and wrong was Ella, who took Dom away to comfort her.

Olivia and Dom got into a heated exchange, as Olivia dismissed and ignored Dom’s valid concerns.

After enduring more than anyone should in one night, Dom left the dinner party with Jack following her. We don’t blame her!
