Martha And Michael Are Having A ‘MAFS’ Baby
Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli have announced that they’ve got a Married at First Sight bun in the oven, and without a doubt, this baby is probably gonna be one of the most influential kids in Australia.
The pair made a joint Instagram video to explain why they’ve recently been absent on Instagram and, of course, share the huge news about Martha’s pregnancy. “We wanted to explain our situation and make a little bit of an announcement, and that is that Martha is pregnant,” Michael shared.

During the pregnancy announcement, Martha gave an update about a mystery illness she contracted during her summer Euro trip. “At five weeks, I was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum, which is basically severe chronic nausea and vomiting.”
The Celebrity Apprentice star revealed that the illness resulted in rapid weight loss and left her bedridden for two months.
The secrecy around Martha’s mystery illness now makes sense with the announcement of the pair’s exciting news, especially since Michael revealed that they discovered the pregnancy in Rome, during their trip.
Michael shared a variety of coincidences in the lead up to their pregnancy news. The universe works in mysterious ways!

Martha and Michael met on Season 6 of one of Australia’s most infamous shows, Married At First Sight, alongside Jessika Power, Cyrell Paule and many, many more iconic contestants. Martha and Michael were one of only two successful couples to come out of that season, alongside Cam and Jules Merchant who welcomed a baby boy in 2020.
