Meet All Of The ‘Married At First Sight’ Contestants Soon To Be Walking Down The Aisle

The new season of Married At First Sight is nearly upon us, so GET PUMPED people! It’s time to meet all of the hopeful brides and grooms who are gearing up to give married life a go, all for the noble purposes of love and trashy entertainment.

MAFS is promising us that it’s going to be bigger and better than ever, with 20 contestants in total riled up and ready to walk down the aisle with a special stranger – I mean – someone. Special someone.

Now that the full cast list has been revealed, we can check out all ten brides and ten grooms who will be mingling come January 29 when the show kicks off on Channel 9. So without further ado, we present you with all 20 hopeful romantics and heartbreakers who will be tying the knot in no time.

Sarah, 38, Beauty specialist from VIC.

Sarah’s looking to meet the right guy so that she can settle down ASAP and start a family before she fears it’s too late. Apparently underneath her self-described “Bo Glam” look, (short for Bogan-Glam), she’s just a down-to-earth gal looking for a genuine guy who will treat her right.

Tracey, 34, Marketing consultant from WA.

After getting hitched and having a daughter in her mid-twenties, Tracey has found herself single again for the past few years. Apparently now she’s ready to put herself back out there and give love another chance. Good for you Tracey.

Blair, 31, Executive assistant from NSW.

We are rooting for justice for Blair after her two-year marriage with a cheating husband ended in heartbreak. Blair’s no stranger to the party scene and she had her “Wifey for Lifey” tattoo strategically changed (and improved imho) to “Burgers for Lifey” so we are pumped to meet her

Davina, 26, Personal trainer from QLD

Davina is a bit of an Instagram-star, so she’s definitely not unpopular on the dating scene but has found she’s meeting the “wrong kind of guys who are only after one thing”. She admits she’s picky and often loses interest within a week of dating so MAFS seems like the natural choice.

Carly, 32, Marketing manager from VIC.

When it comes to her career, Carly has got things covered. She’s a self-diagnosed workaholic with ambition and high standards. However, when it comes to love, things are bust in spite of a lot of effort to find the man of her dreams.

Ashley, 28, Flight attendant from QLD.

Ashley’s a former tennis player extraordinare and she hasn’t lost her competitive edge. According to her, she has “no real filter” and isn’t about to be walked all over. She’s keen to start a family ASAP so we hope her hubby is on board.

Alycia, 28, Student from SA.

This is someone who is VERY ready for marriage. She’s already prepared her vows and her dress. All she needs is prince charming.

Charlene, 33, Brand manager from VIC.

No stranger to commitment, Charlene was in a 17-year long relationship and is ready to find someone new to fall in love with. Someone who can keep up with her busy social and work life.

Gabrielle, 44, Marketing coordinator from NSW.

After being married once and engaged twice, Gabrielle is ready for something to stick. She’s a single mum and plus-size model, with a big heart and she’s ready to be swept off her feet.

Jo, 39, Single mum from SA.

Jo is a super bubbly single mum who is looking for her next committed relationship after her 10 year marriage came to an end. She got lots of energy and lots to say aka she’s loud AF.

Dean, 39, Executive creative director from NSW.

Dean is that dude fans think is a ‘misogynist’ d-bag who stirred up controversy when his MAFS promo video aired and we had to endure him talking about wanting for traditional gender roles in a marriage. Eugh. Basically, Dean is an ‘alpha male’ and party boy who wants to be the dominant one in the relationship and we hate him already.

Justin, 41, Entrepreneur from NSW.

Justing has been letting business get in the way of his love life for too long and now he’s setting his sights on settling down. He’s got three companies under his belt, one marriage and two kids and he’s ready for the next big thing.

 Ryan, 29, Tradesman from NSW.

Ryan says he’s got no filter and doesn’t seem to know what women want but he’s ready to settle down with a special someone.

 Patrick, 34, Operations manager from VIC.

We’ve got an ex-player who is ready to grow up and swap clubs for monogamy (apparently). But not grow up so much that he does his own chores. His mum currently does his laundry and he’s looking for that in a wife.

Sean T, 34, Railway technician from WA.

Sean says he’s a lady’s man, claiming he’s slept with hundreds of women. No judgement but it should be interesting seeing that translate into married life.

Nasser, 50, Fitness instructor from NSW.

So Nasser is an eternal bachelor who is definitely looking pretty damn youthful for 50, something he puts down to regimented moisturising and beauty routine. He’s a clean freak and gym junkie and he’s ready to change his ways.

Mathew, 32, Plumber from VIC.

Mat loves rom-coms and love songs and his fave chick flick is apparently The Notebook, so he’s either a catch or a cheeky liar. He’s been caring for his elderly grandmother for the past two years and now he’s ready to fulfil his romantic aspirations and find someone for himself.

Telv, 33, Machinery technician from WA.

Telv is a family man, coming from a big fam of eight kids and now co-parenting two of his own with his ex-girlfriend. He’s been single for over a year now and he’s a big softie looking to fall in love again.

 Sean D, 39, Pub manager from SA.

Sean has been pouring his energy into running a pub for over ten years and hasn’t had any luck in meeting a partner. He lacks confidence in his dating life and he’s hoping to find someone who wants to live with him on his farm where he has horses and alpacas. Sean seems like the biggest sweetheart in the lineup and honestly he’s a winner!
