Melbourne Has Been Issued An Official Tornado Warning
Melbourne has been issued an official tornado warning by The Bureau of Meteorology today.
According to 3AW, The BOM say destructive winds & heavy rainfall may lead to flash floods, large hailstones and tornadoes, which can be expected from 2pm onwards.
The warning is for people in the Port Phillip, Inner East, Inner, South East, Western and parts of the Mornington Peninsula, Northern, Outer East and Geelong and Bellarine Peninsula areas.
Spare a thought for those at Oaks Day at Flemington today – Stay safe everyone!
UPDATE: Tornado warnings have been eased, but Melburnians are advised to remain indoors.
