A ‘Mighty Ducks’ TV Series Revival Is In The Works So Start Quacking
Get your squad ready, ‘cos y’all know ducks fly together and you need a solid team around to deal with this earth-shattering news. The Mighty Ducks might be getting a TV reboot.
It’s still on the DL, but sources have told The Hollywood Reporter that ABC Signature Studios is in early talks for a series based on the ice hockey themed 1990s trilogy. However a network is not yet attached.
LET’S DO THIS.
A #MightyDucks TV series needs to exist in the same universe as the movies.
It needs an Emilio Estevez cameo.
And it should star Joshua Jackson as the new coach of the Ducks.

I'm all for this Mighty Ducks TV series that's supposedly in the works. Maybe they can get a rematch with Team Iceland and concoct a better game plan than, "Let's suck for two periods and illegally wear a different uniform for the 3rd period."

Sources are saying that ABC Signature head Tracy Underwood has put Mighty Ducks in development after being approached by original trilogy screenwriter Steven Brill and original producer Jordan Kerner.
The rough plan is for Brill to pen the script and, after ABC Signature lock in a cast, they would approach streaming platforms this year to green light the project. So far none of the original cast, including Emilio Estevez and Joshua Jackson is attached – as a script has not yet been written.
Surely the whole gang has to come back! Remember…
