It feels like the last award ceremony was a lifetime ago, but today saw the 2020 MTV VMAs actually happen! Like with people! And performances! What a wild concept in these trying times.

Of course, the only way to get this year’s awards to go ahead was without an audience, so while it was still the MTV VMAs it had a very different feel. Thankfully, the night still boasted exciting performances from Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, Black Eyed Peas, The Weeknd, Doja Cat, and Maluma.
