The ancestors have BLESSED us with an early Christmas gift! Disney just dropped the first trailer for the live-action ‘Mulan’, and oh-my-sweet-Mushu I am in tears!

Let’s be honest, most of us die-hard fans wrote off the film once we discovered there’d be no songs and no Mushu. But this trailer packs some serious punch, and one thing’s for sure, I’ll be the first in line at the movies!

Check out the official trailer for the live-action Mulan below:

Mulan, played by Liu Yifei, follows in the path of her cartoon predecessor, abandoning her traditional, Chinese life to take her father’s place in the war.

The trailer begins with Mulan’s father (Donnie Yen), telling his daughter that “Your job is to bring honour to the family”, and in the gift that keeps on giving, it delves deep into the conscription, Mulan running away, and of course the highly-anticipated battle scene. I cannot wait!

Mulan debuts in Australian cinemas March 26, 2020.
