The Aussie public asked and Nando’s has delivered. The chicken gods have given us some tasty mealtime inspo, releasing a new range of their yummy PERi-PERi chicken with the addition of everyone’s fave cheesy extra: halloumi. Hellz yeah.
From June 26 to July 22, you can get your hungry hands on The Halloumi – which comes with Nando’s famous PERi-PERi chicken breast, grilled halloumi, caramelised onion relish, creamy aioli and cos lettuce – at Nando’s restaurants all over the bloody country.
You can taste this perf combo in a soft bun, wrap, pita or crusty Portuguese roll. It comes with a choice of regular side for only $12. You can take your pick between a garden salad, coleslaw, spicy rice, garlic bread, corn on the cob or Nando’s famous PERi-PERi chips.
The home of PERi-PERi chicken has already served up halloumi in UK and the Poms couldn’t get enough. Luckily, cheese-loving Aussies can now rejoice.
