It’s that wonderful time of the year when you can cancel all your plans and stay inside to non-stop binge watch bad Christmas movies while claiming you’re being “festive”.

And while it might not even be December yet, that doesn’t mean Netflix Christmas movies aren’t already being dropped, and this year the streaming platform has outdone itself.

From the charming Let It Snow to another instalment of the A Christmas Prince franchise, we’ve compiled a list of all the so-bad-they’re-good chrissy movies coming this year.

Every Christmas movie coming to Netflix in 2019:

Holiday in the Wild

Let’s be clear, this is very loosely being categorised as a Xmas movie. I’d call it more of a general holiday film, as it follows recent divorcée Kate Conrad (played by Sex and the City’s Kristin Davis) as she embarks on a trip to Africa on a journey to find herself again. She soon meets pilot Derek Holliston (aka Rob Lowe) and love blossoms. There’s also a scene with a baby elephant that made my insides cry. This one is a tear-jerker.

When: Available to stream now.

Let it Snow

Based on the YA novel of the same name, this movie has been referred to as Love Actually for teens and for good reason. The film features several intercrossing storylines, from a pop star looking to reconnect with his roots, to a failed Xmas party and a woman covered in tin foil — and it’s mostly set inside a waffle house. It’s a lot of fun and an easy watch if you want to switch off your brain for an hour or two.

Christmas Break-In

This film gave me serious Home Alone vibes, so you know it’s worth a watch. The story follows a young girl stranded at school before holiday break, when robbers trespass and err…hold the janitor hostage. It’s a bit ridiculous and extra but isn’t that how all Christmas movie should be?

When: Available to stream now.

Klaus

The only animated film on the list, Klaus tells a Christmas origin story about a postman who meets a carpenter and encourages him to start making toys for kids. Definitely one to watch with your nieces and nephews.

When: Available to stream now.

The Knight Before Christmas

I’m obsessed with this movie as it marks Vanessa Hudgens’ first Xmas movie since the masterpiece that was The Princess Switch. This time around the plot follows a knight from medieval England who is transported to the modern day, where he falls for a school science teacher (Vanessa). It’s clearly super realistic and we’ve all been there.

When: Available to stream now.

Holiday Rush

Holiday Rush tells the tale of a single dad and radio DJ, Rashon ‘Rush’ Williams, who loses his job just as Christmas is around the corner and he needs to buy gifts for his kids. This leads to a bunch of classic Xmas movie high jinks, as he hustles to get his job back. I’m here for this.

When: November 28, 2019

A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby

The third film in the A Christmas Prince series sees Queen Amber and King Richard prepare for the birth of their first child. But things take a turn when they find out about an ancient curse threatening their lives, and yeah, it sounds like some bonkers nonsense I will absolutely eat up.

When: December 5, 2019

Happy viewing, fam!
