Doing nothing to quash the small glimmer of hope that Jon Snow fans are holding on to. The new teaser trailer for season six of Game of Thrones has been released today and features a whole lotta Snow, along with several flashbacks of violence, sex and intrigue encountered by the central characters across the seven kingdoms.

As this happens a wise old voice reminds us of the reasons we can’t wait for GoT to come back:

We watch, we listen and we remember. The past is already written. The ink is dry.

Whatever that vague line may mean, surely hardcore ‘Westorosians’ will decode it before the series returns in April.
