Nicki Minaj and The Weeknd Just Dropped A New Collaboration In a Surprise SNL Performance
Yep, the rumours are true. The hotly anticipated collab that’s been spinning the online rumour mill has come to fruition. The Weeknd took to the SNL stage Saturday night to perform his single ‘The Hills’, surprising us with a guest appearance by rap mogul Nicki Minaj.
The collab was teased weeks ago at New York Fashion Week via Minaj’s Instagram account, posing together with the caption ‘Stay tuned’ pictured below.
Minaj spat her verse for the remix of the song, which is now available on iTunes and Spotify for your listening pleasure. Wearing a sheer Balmain dress that was see-through in all the right places, The Weeknd couldn’t take his eyes off Nicki as she delivered to the audience (watch out Meek Mill).
This remix comes hand in hand as pure audible gold with the Eminem remix of the song that was released recently, and joins dozens of other Weeknd remixes that are beginning to surface.
We’re surely not the only ones working for the Weeknd right now, and we can’t wait to see what he has in store next.
