The latest celeb breakup drama to unfold on Instagram isn’t from our reality TV stars! Step aside Jarrod, Keira, Megan and Jake.

We have a new messy couple taking over. In fact, it’s Miley Cyrus’ little sister Noah and her now (potential ex) boyfriend Lil Xan (real name: Diego Leanos) fighting it out over Instagram.

It seemingly all started when Noah sent Lil Xan a photoshopped Charlie Puth image. He took it to mean Noah was cheating on him.

Sometimes a picture speaks a thousand words, or at least prompts several questions, so here is the image below:

There’s a bit to unpack here so I’ve tried to put a timeline in concise dot points.

  • Noah sends Diego a photoshopped image of Charlie Puth’s head on a pornstar’s body with absolutely no context.
  • Diego is confused. His messages read: “Why did you send that pic? Wtf?”
  • Noah uploads the text convo, with broken hearts already next to Diego’s name.
  • “I’m heartbroken and confused. This is the meme I sent to Diego that made him think I’m cheating on him,” her Instagram story reads.
  • Charlie Puth is probably sitting somewhere right now, like the rest of us, wondering what the hell is going on.

Since this has unravelled, Noah has deleted her original Instagram story, and just uploaded this:

You know who else is probably concerned and confused, Noah? Charlie Puth.

At some point during this whole drama, Diego/Lil Xan uploaded a video response. “You think you know somebody, and you just end up used,” he lamented.

But first, before we delve deeper into this I had to put my detective skills to the test and figure out something very important.

Yes, he may be most known for squashing his face against Noah’s on the VMAs red carpet…

… but through Google and Wikipedia, I have now learned he is a 21-year-old rapper/songwriter who falls under the genre “emo rap”. He made headlines this year by saying Tupac’s music was boring.

Anyway, back to the breakup.

People has reported that during an Instagram live, Noah implored young fans to, “get away from every fucking person that goes into your life and just crushes it and crumbles it and makes you feel like a piece of fucking shit.” She also said she has not done anything wrong and that she’ll “explain it more in the next couple of days”.
